    Jaime Agnew is an attorney with nearly two decades of legal experience serving the people of Lucas County. She currently serves as an Assistant Public Defender with the Toledo Legal Aid Society and previously worked as a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio under Attorney General David Yost. Jaime also served as a Magistrate in the Toledo Municipal Court from 2018 to 2023, presiding over civil, criminal, and traffic matters. Throughout her career, she has represented children, families, and individuals across a wide range of legal issues, including juvenile law, family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. A graduate of the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, Jaime has been recognized for both academic and professional excellence. Originally from East Liverpool, Ohio, she is married to her high school sweetheart, Aaron, and they have two sons. Jaime is deeply committed to community service and civic engagement, volunteering with numerous charitable organizations and causes throughout Northwest Ohio while remaining dedicated to serving and advocating for her community.

Her goal is to provide steady leadership, sound judgment, and a commitment to public service that puts the people of Lucas County first.
